Economy

·        It’s time that Congress starts looking at and reinvesting back into America! And an area to start reinvesting is in our aging and ailing infrastructure. Our roads, bridges, and clean water systems are deteriorating at an alarming rate today.

·        We still have communities across America with failing or non existent clean water systems. Clean water is essential for a healthy society and a clean environment.

·        Our roads and bridges are needed for a strong economy and defense. Without an adequate infrastructure, we are not able to move our produce, technology, goods, across America.

·        When we start reinvesting into America, we will create NEW jobs, better paying jobs, jobs that will not be sent overseas.

Energy

·        We need a balanced approach that will increase our domestic supplies, reduce demand for foreign oil, and promote and invest in renewable and alternative fuels for greater independence and a cleaner environment.

·        We should be reducing regulations for oil and gas production, constructing new and refineries and modernizing existing refineries, and constructing new nuclear facilities.

·        It’s time we start drilling here at home and concurrently working for new technologies for renewable and alternative sources of energy.

Education

·        Give parents more choices in education

·        Lessen the Federal bureaucracy on schools

·        Promote transparency to access performance, promote accountability and share innovations in education.

·        Get education back in the state and local governments. This is closest to the parents, kids and schools.

Family Values

·        Protect the sanctity of life and the institution of marriage between man and woman

Health Care

·        We need to increase competition and consumer choice while streamlining regulations for free market solutions

·        Reduce costs for employers and private citizens who purchase private insurance with tax credits.

·        Make health insurance portable and allow Association Health care plans

·        Reduce regulations and modify HSA’s and other free market reforms will put the consumer back in control of their own healthcare.

·        Provide tax incentives for a healthy lifestyle.

2nd Amendment

·        Protect the rights of Americans

·        Enforce existing laws and make sure violent criminals are punished to the full extent of these laws

National Security

·        We need a larger, more modern military that will defeat terrorists and defend the interests of the United States.

·        We also need to take care of our Veterans, by having the most up to date medical care and having Jobs ready for Vets when the return home.

Immigration

·        No Amnesty

·        Secure our borders and enforce immigration laws. Hire additional personnel to secure our boarders, use existing and emerging technology to help with this effort.

·        Fix and streamline the legalization process. It takes an average of 13 years today to become a legal resident.

Federal Budget and Tax Reform

·        We need market based approaches to promote our prosperity while cutting and lowering taxes.

·        Cut wasteful programs and spending on special interests

·        Permanently repeal the death tax and investment taxes.

·        Reform the Alternative Minimum Tax and permanently extend small business expensing and update and simplify the depreciation schedules
